How do you get my updates?

I probably already asked this question, but who needs variety? Variety is for sissies. Anyway, I was wondering (again?) how people see that I've put up a new post. I only update once a week for two reasons: 1) I'm lazy and 2) the Sims 2 community fascistically only allows one story post per week, and I don't want people to not see that I've updated. So, are you getting my posts from your friends list, or from the TS2 community? (I haven't yet had the temerity to put it in the Legacy community.) I seem to think that a lot of the updates that I didn't put up on the Sims 2 community got seen considerably less than the ones I did.

This is a legitimate question because I did some calculations today. Assuming an update of 75-150 pics (my usual cutoffs) takes about 200 pics to produce (with allowances for leaving shit out, duplicate pics, and nefariously hidden things), I'm three hundred and fifty chapters behind myself. And that is a floating timeline - I'm still playing regularly, and I take hundreds of pics when I play. In the interests of not having caught up to myself today in seven years, it would be nice to be able to post more than once a week. But most of the fun of telling this stupid story is chatting with people about it, so if they're not going to see it, I'm not gonna do it. (And naturally if I do start doing it I'll immediately exhaust my buffer and go back to weekly updates, but that's neither here nor there.)

Thoughts?

Oh, I'm not going to stop. Don't worry about that. Although the Sable Legacy hasn't been updated in ages... who cares.

I have you on my Friends list specifically so that I can see your updates. I don't follow the TS2 community or the Legacy community.

A thought, though: is there anything stopping you from posting a community ad that lists two updates? "This week, Pine Valley updated twice." With links (and pictures, if allowed) to both, of course.

I've done that once or twice. Of course, what happens is everyone comments on the second one and I never hear anything about the first one. I'm not being all "wah wah tell me I'm awesome," it's more that I like talking about this stuff and getting opinions. That's a lot of the fun of doing it for me. It's not my fault that nobody seems to want to trash anything :P

Damn the story facists, post four a week and I'll be a happy Tom.I'm not really into the sims community so I just keep the latest post on my favourites bar and recheck.Seriously though, more Pine Valley is good Pine Valley.

They make periodic comebacks, but the first major one of those is a ways off. The next big murderfest is more likely to involve rival secret agents. But it's pretty cool.

I see your updates on my friends page. But I first see that you have updated on my phone in my outlook app.
